Spring break is here and we’ve decided to exercise our artistic sides. It’s been awhile since one of us has put paint to paper, (drawing on the iPad is way more popular with the SiS Team,) but since we’re on vacation, we decided to get out the brushes and practice painting the human skull. (Even though it’s way past Dia de los Muertos, these skulls were inspired by Day of the Dead skulls.) painted by Luisa.

Now 90 years old, he has taught his grandchildren everything there is to know about his life and the world of Tauromachia. He wrote books on bullfighting, sketched hundreds of bulls, painted scenes of the bull ring, carved matadors out of wood, and even made a short film about the ancient sport.
