Our grandfather, Barnaby Conrad, was once a bullfighter. Now 90 years old, he has taught his grandchildren everything there is to know about his life and the world of Tauromachia. He wrote books on bullfighting, sketched hundreds of bulls, painted scenes of the bull ring, carved matadors out of wood, and even made a short film about the ancient sport. He was fascinated by the men who entered the ring and respected the bulls who fought. Our sketches pay homage to him and his love of bulls and art.
